My weekend surprise ended up being for my brother. He's getting ready to get on a plane and head to a faraway land for a whole month. So, I stopped by with a little "creativity kit" for all of the sketching and journaling I hope he'll do on his grand adventure. The kit consists of a little "moleskine" sketch book and a handmade felt pencil roll. I love these little kits! The size of the notebook is just right for carrying around in a pocket while traveling and the pencil roll is so much fun to make! These are great gifts to give for birthdays, holidays, or just because! 
My surprise was a success.....he loved it and it made me so happy to give it to him!
